The PRINCE2® Foundation workshop will study the 7 Principles, 7 Themes and 7 Processes of the PRINCE2® methodology and prepare you for the PRINCE2® Foundation Examination. The PRINCE2® Foundation workshop will use a mix of classroom dialogue, group work and self-study to enhance individual learning, including the use of a case study with mock Foundation exam papers to familiarise participants with the exam format. During the PRINCE2® Foundation workshop attendees will need to carry out some evening private study.

The one-hour PRINCE2® Foundation multiple-choice examination will take place at the end of the third day. The exam is in "closed-book" style. Candidates will receive preliminary results immediately following the examination.

The exam is provided and administered by The APM Group. Project Plus, in association with Yellowhouse , is permitted to act as an exam centre.

+ What you will learn
  • A Structured Project Management Method – learn a globally recognised project management method, from setting up for project management to project execution and completion. 
  • The PRINCE2® Foundation Exam – The Foundation exam comprises 75 multiple choice questions taken from the detail of the PRINCE2® method. This one-hour exam is “closed book” with a pass-mark of 50%. This exam will be held at the end of day three.

  • Must have experience of project environments
  • Some pre-course study is required
Attendees will be provided with their personal copy of the PRINCE2® manual (Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2®) approximately three weeks before the start of the workshop. There will be a programme of pre-workshop self study (approximately 12-15 hours) using the manual and delegates will be sent a study framework to assist them with this activity. Delegates will be supported by the Project Plus helpline (email or telephone) if required.
